Zamora defends goal record
Fulham striker Bobby Zamora insists his disappointing goal return this season is not troubling him.
The former West Ham frontman has found the target just twice in 32 starts this season, but continues to enjoy the full backing of boss Roy Hodgson.
His main rival for a striking berth, Dimonsy Kamara, has managed four goals this term despite being restricted to just two starts, while Andy Johnson has broken into double figures during his first season at Craven Cottage.
Zamora accepts that his record during the 2008/09 campaign has not been the best, but he believes that his all-round contribution to Fulham's quest to land a Europa League spot has more than justified his inclusion.
Different"The goals haven't been coming but it's sort of a different role I have to play - it's not all-out attack," he said in the Daily Star.
"Every other part of my game has been good - holding the ball up, bringing other people into play.
"If I'm not scoring, I'm setting someone else up.
"That's good enough for me and, as long as we win, I couldn't care less."
