Portsmouth defender Marc Wilson has played down the transfer speculation surrounding him and expressed his happiness with life at Fratton Park.[LNB] With Pompey set for a campaign in the Championship next season, a number of clubs are reportedly targeting the 22-year-old at a cut-price figure.[LNB]Fulham and Sunderland are two names in the frame, but Wilson is focused on his career on the south coast.[LNB]"I just try to concentrate on the football. I don't listen to all that stuff about teams supposedly being interested in me," he told The News.[LNB]"If you're a good professional, then you've got to block it all out. At the end of the day, I'm contracted to Portsmouth Football Club. I've been here for seven years and I love it here.[LNB]"It's a bit difficult to say what will happen in the future with all the stuff that's been going on at the club.[LNB]"They were saying that they would try to sell all of the players not so long ago so there might not be a choice.[LNB]"We had to sell players in January and I suppose that had to happen. The club was the most important thing.[LNB]"But I'm really happy at Portsmouth and I always have been. I will just have to see what happens at the club over the summer and take it from there."[LNB]Administration-hit Pompey are bottom of the Premier League following a disappointing season which has seen them docked nine points.[LNB]Wilson admits it has not been plain sailing but does not think it is all doom and gloom.[LNB]"I've been pleased with certain parts this season," he added.[LNB]"I'm obviously not pleased that the team is bottom of the Premier League and we had a nine-point deduction.[LNB]"But I've been pleased with some of my performances and I feel I've improved as a player.[LNB]"I still say I would prefer to play in midfield as the defensive midfielder but I know that needs must and I'm happy to play wherever I'm asked."
