Fulham defender Moritz Volz has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at Craven Cottage until the end of the 2008-09 season.
The 23-year-old German has played more than 100 matches for the Cottagers since arriving from Arsenal.
He joined Fulham on a permanent contract for an undisclosed fee in January 2004, having previously spent a six-month loan spell with the club.
"I am very glad that I have now signed my extension with the club," Volz told Fulham's official website.
"I am happy to be playing again and I am looking forward to the things that come now. Things are going well here and we want to progress as a team, and I believe the next couple of results are key in what we can hope to achieve this season.
"We always look to improve our performances as a team and obviously for me, as an individual as well. So I'm glad I'm playing regularly again and I want to make sure I keep in the team, and that we do well."
