Tottenham's Tom Huddlestone and Gareth Bale targets for Fulham

Neither player has started a match for Redknapp's side since the club were knocked out of the Uefa Cup six weeks ago, prompting speculation about their futures. [LNB]Huddlestone was a regular starter when Redknapp took the reigns from Juande Ramos, but he has fallen down the pecking order since Jermaine Jenas returned from injury and Wilson Palacios was signed. You get it, give it to me and I will deliver the passes'." [LNB]Bale meanwhile is reportedly struggling with not being handed a specific position. The 19-year-old claims he prefers the left-back position but many think him better suited to a wing back role. [LNB]Regardless of where he plays, the Times suggest that even if Redknapp wanted to sell him off the club's hierarchy would prevent it from happening. [LNB]Back in January, Middlesbrough were eager to sign Bale as part of a deal which would have seen Stewart Downing move to White Hart Lane, but Tottenham refused the notion. [LNB]
