Tigers wait on Zamora choice

Hull City manager Phil Brown remains hopeful that striker Bobby Zamora will agree to join the Tigers from Fulham this summer.

City have had a £5million bid accepted for the 28-year-old frontman, who is still weighing up his options.

Brown told Sky Sports News: "We have put a contract on the table, a very lucrative contract in terms of what we think of Bobby Zamora.

"We are standing firm on it, this is our evaluation of Bobby Zamora, end of story.

"The opposition always begs to differ. We are in that no-man's land again - awaiting a response.

"I have not put a timescale on it. We're giving him time to think about it, it will probably be in the next 24 hours.

"I got the impression he was impressed with what he had to see and impressed with what I had to say."
