[LNB] In demand: Stockdale in pre-season action for Fulham[LNB]Swansea City have made an improved ?2.5million bid for Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale.[LNB]Manager Brendan Rodgers had a ?2m bid rejected 10 days ago and has since offered ?1.3m for Nottingham Forest's Lee Camp.[LNB]Fulham would prefer Stockdale to go out on loan and gain first-team experience but are reluctant to do so to a rival Premier League club because top-flight rules mean they cannot insert a 24-hour recall clause.[LNB]Rodgers said: 'It's well-known that they want him to get a loan experience, but the difficulty for Fulham is that if he goes to another Premier League club, they won't have an immediate recall.[LNB]'So even though the Premier League is the best level for him to be at, strategically it may not be best for Fulham. But we are looking to see if there's a solution.[LNB]'We think we will know either way in the next 24 to 48 hours whether David is going to be in the list of keepers we could go for, and that's important.'[LNB]Fulham have signed Slovan Liberec midfielder Marcel Gecov, 23, on a two-year contract for about ?750,000 and they continue to negotiate with Palermo over 19-year-old Pajtim Kasami, a former Liverpool youth player, who is valued at ?4m.[LNB]Fulham have had a ?2.8m offer rejected.[LNB] Swansea set to launch new bid for Forest's Camp after initial offer is rejectedRodgers delighted to see Allen pen contract extension at newly-promoted Swansea[LNB] [LNB]
