Stoor eyes more pitch time

Fulham defender Fredrik Stoor has pleaded with manager Roy Hodgson for more time on the pitch to prove he is Premier League quality.[LNB] The Swedish defender has struggled to break into the side since his arrival from Rosenborg last summer as Fulham's resilient defence has been reliable all season.[LNB]Having played in last summers' European Championships with Sweden and securing a move to the Premier League, Stoor's progress has stalled and he was keen to point out the reasons.[LNB]"Way too little time on the pitch," he said. "It's gone over expectations for the club and I am of course happy for that, but I need to play football.[LNB]"I have three years left on the contract, and haven't spoken to the club yet. But I still want to play more than I do today.[LNB]"I feel that I can make it here and that's not the problem. But if you look on a general level, there are very few switches in Fulham.[LNB]"The defence line has more or less looked the same during the entire season. That makes it hard to show what you've got."[LNB]
