Stoke capture Eidur Gudjohnsen as part of triple deal on deadline day

The arrival of former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Gudjohnsen, 31, from Monaco for the season would be a particular coup for Potters boss Tony Pulis.[LNB]Gudjohnsen, who spent the latter part of last season on loan with Tottenham, had been pondering a move to join Mark Hughes at Fulham just hours after Stoke had come close to agreeing terms on a similar 12 month deal.
