Stockdale close to loan switch

David Stockdale expects Fulham will soon send him out on loan, as Championship rivals Leeds and Ipswich battle for his signature.[LNB] Cottagers boss Martin Jol has revealed that the club are willing to listen to loan offers for the 25-year-old goalkeeper.[LNB]That has alerted Leeds and Ipswich to his potential availability, with both clubs keen to add him to their squads.[LNB]Stockdale has hinted that he would favour a move to Elland Road, allowing him to return to his West Yorkshire roots.[LNB]He is, however, more concerned about getting minutes under his belt and insists a short-term deal away from Craven Cottage will be all about picking up experience and proving his worth to Fulham.[LNB]"I need games," said Stockdale.[LNB]"I am definitely looking to get out on loan and I think the manager is thinking the same thing.[LNB]"I came to Fulham to show what I can do and now I want to go out and do that again.[LNB]"You cannot rest on your laurels.[LNB]"You need to continue proving yourself all the time in this game."
