Cottagers boss Martin Jol has revealed that the club are willing to listen to loan offers for the 25-year-old goalkeeper.
That has alerted Leeds and Ipswich to his potential availability, with both clubs keen to add him to their squads.
Stockdale has hinted that he would favour a move to Elland Road, allowing him to return to his West Yorkshire roots.
He is, however, more concerned about getting minutes under his belt and insists a short-term deal away from Craven Cottage will be all about picking up experience and proving his worth to Fulham.
"I need games," said Stockdale.
"I am definitely looking to get out on loan and I think the manager is thinking the same thing.
"I came to Fulham to show what I can do and now I want to go out and do that again.
"You cannot rest on your laurels.
"You need to continue proving yourself all the time in this game."
