Stapleton facing FA charge
The FA have charged agent Sam Stapleton over his involvement in the transfer of Zoltan Gera to Fulham last year.[LNB] Stapleton is alleged to have breached agents regulations by acting for Fulham in the July 2008 deal having represented Gera in contract negotiations with West Brom the previous month.[LNB] Stapleton is also charged with "failing to enter into a written representation contract with the player and/or failing to lodge the representation contract with The FA", according to a statement on the governing body's website.[LNB] Stapleton has 14 days to respond to the charges.
