Fulham loanee Paul Stalteri has put his future on hold as he bids to help keep the Cottagers in the Premier League.
The Canada international full-back has made four appearances since arriving at Craven Cottage on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in January.
Stalteri had been frozen out at White Hart Lane following the arrival of new manager Juande Ramos earlier in the season and has suggested he would like to join the Cottagers on a permanent basis.
However, the 30-year-old defender has pledged to help the club stave off relegation before looking to resolve his future.
Fulham are currently six points adrift of safety in 19th place in the table.
"I still have another year on my contract at Spurs after this, but for me and the rest of the squad, the main goal is to ensure that we keep this side in the Premier League," he told the club's official website.
"Of course, it would be nice to make the move permanent, but we just have to focus on the team's survival - the rest takes a back seat for now.
"We have nine games to go and we need to string a run together where we get not only points but wins.
"This season will go all the way to the last game of the season and we'll be fighting all the way to ensure we're not in those bottom three places."
