Senderos To Miss Next Two Games
Philippe Senderos will miss Switzerland's next two World Cup matches with an ankle injury. Fulham's new centre-half was substituted in the 36th minute of Switzerland's shock 1-0 defeat of tournament favourites Spain and will now miss the next two group stage matches with the same problem that has kept captain Alexander Frei on the sidelines. 'Victim of the same injury as Alex Frei, an ankle sprain, Philippe Senderos is officially out of the two matches against Chile and Honduras,' a statement read on www.football.ch.
