Schwarzer targets away-day improvement

Mark Schwarzer has urged his Fulham team-mates to ensure their Barclays Premier League win at Sunderland was not a freak result. The Cottagers romped to a surprise 3-0 victory at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, only the second time they had taken maximum points away from home this season. Goalkeeper Schwarzer told his club's official website, www.fulhamfc.com: "In the time that I have been at the club, we have been very, very strong at home and we have done very well at Craven Cottage, which has become a bit of a fortress for us at times. "We want to try and maintain that strength, while securing results like we did at Sunderland on our travels. "If we can do that then we could see a big difference. "The second half of the season has been very good and we're now ninth in the table and want to keep ourselves in the top 10 and end the campaign in a strong, positive position."
