Schwarzer Hands In Transfer Request

Mark Schwarzer could be forcing his move to Arsenal by handing in a transfer request. Arsene Wenger might be ending his long-running search for a new goalkeeper after the Fulham goalkeeper requests a transfer. The club has already turned down a bid of £2 million from Wenger for the Australian stopper before the World Cup. However, it's unlikely that Mark Hughes will let his No. 1 go without a fight. There's been reports that Wenger had raised his bid to £4 million but is this now enough for Hughes to accept? Hughes could reject Schwarzer's request as it's been reported on several occassions that he's not willing to let his goalkeeper go.
