Fulham manager Lawrie Sanchez could be in hot water with the Football Association after accusing referees of 'not being up to it' after their Carling Cup exit.
Sanchez was livid that the Cottagers lost their third round tie 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night after two controversial incidents.
Firstly, referee Steve Bennett disallowed an early effort from Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara.
Then Stelios Giannakopoulos appeared to make contact with Fulham defender Paul Konchesky before ghosting in at the far post and sliding his extra-time winner past Kasey Keller.
"These referees are just not up to it and something has to be done. They are costing us week-in, week-out with their decisions," fumed Sanchez.
"I'm getting fed-up with referees who come to little Fulham and disallow goals for no apparent reason.
"Whether they think they are coming for a nice trip or something, I don't know. But we have seen the goal and it is definitely onside."
