Russian date for Cottagers

Fulham's reward for beating Vetra of Lithuania is a tie against Russian Premier Liga side Amkar Perm in the Europa League play-offs. The Cottagers sealed a 6-0 aggregate win in the third qualifying round with a 3-0 victory at Craven Cottage on Thursday night. Amkar finished fourth in their domestic league to qualify for the competition but are only 12th in the 2009 campaign with four wins from their 16 games. The first leg will take place at Craven Cottage on August 20 with the return a week later.
