Roy Hodgson hints at losing Brede Hangeland to Arsenal

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says he is worried about keeping hold of Brede Hangeland, after Arsene Wenger revealed he is interested in bringing the defender to the Emirates.[LNB]Arsenal have been linked with the Norway centre-half throughout the summer, but according to Hodgson have not made an offer.[LNB]However, following the sale of Kolo Toure to Manchester City and Philippe Senderos'? likely move to Everton, Wenger is keen to bolster his defensive options before the start of the season, with Hangeland reportedly top of his wish-list.[LNB] And speaking after Fulham secured their route to the next stage of the Europa League with a 3-0 second-leg win over FK Vetra at Craven Cottage, Hodgson admitted Arsenal?s courtship of his star defender is a concern.[LNB]?When a bigger club is interested or connected with one of your players, of course it is a source of worry because Brede is a very important person for us.[LNB]"I sometimes have admitted to being interested or admiring certain players, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are always going to go and sign them.[LNB]"Because to sign the player would first require the club making contact with us and then making certain everyone was happy with any deal that could be struck.[LNB]"I think we have got a long way to go before that happen."[LNB]How much should Wenger be prepared to pay to lure Hangeland to Arsenal?
