Roy Hodgson fears for Fulham's future as he welcomes Duff and Dikgacoi

Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is uncertain about Fulham's Prermier League future due to doubts over the size of the playing squad. Craven Cottage is set for a battle for Premier League survival and a campaign in the Europa League this season and could lack cover for injured players if the fixtures pile up. But Hodgson was today ready to welcome Ireland international Damien Duff and Kagiso Dikgacoi of South Africa to his growing resources. Duff was set to complete a £4 million move from Newcastle and Dikgacoi was ready to fly to London after being granted a work permit. Hodgson watched his side grab three points on Saturday as Bobby Zamora deflect in a Clint Dempsey shot for Fulham's winner at Portsmouth. Afterwards Hodgson said: 'Our squad's getting bigger, but whether it's big enough only time will tell.' Fulham will reach the group stage of the Europa League if they can overcome a final qualifying tie against Russian side Amkar Perm and that could send Hodgson back to the market. But he said: 'Don't forget that we've already added Stephen Kelly and Bjorn Helge Riise to our staff. 'That's four quite important signings. They're the type of players who can come in and help us.'
