Riise expects Fulham move

Norway midfielder Bjorn Helge Riise is confident he will successfully complete his medical at Fulham ahead of joining the Premier League club.[LNB] Craven Cottage officials have confirmed the 26-year-old Lillestrom star is in West London to undergo physical assessments as boss Roy Hodgson looks to tweak his squad.[LNB]The Cottagers are preparing for the Europa League and Riise, the younger brother of Roma's former Liverpool player John Arne, has been identified as an ideal recruit.[LNB]Riise has completed the initial stages of his medical and he expects to make a move to England in the near future once fitness tests are finished. [LNB]"It will be a wonderful feeling to put my name on the contract. This is what I have worked for," he told rb.no. [LNB]"I have finished the most important tests on my knees, ankles and legs. On Wednesday I will go through a fitness test. But it is not something I am worried about.[LNB]"This is a correct step for me. I look forward to seeing the team in qualifying for the Europa League."[LNB]Riise, though, has remained tight-lipped regarding the type of contract on offer, adding when asked about his pay: "I do not wish to comment, but I am happy with it."[LNB]
