Goalkeeper David Stockdale has signed a new long-term contract with Fulham to keep him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2013.
The 24-year-old has made just three appearances for the Cottagers to date, but is enjoying life in the capital, having previously made his name with York City and Darlington.
He told the club's official website: "It means the world to me. Thankfully the club has rewarded me.
"It was great to be here in the first place and I'm settled here and have had the opportunity to show what I can do.
"The keepers here are great to learn from and there's a wonderful rapport. If I can do half of what Mark Schwarzer and Pascal Zuberbuhler have done in their careers, it would be a great career to look back on.
"I'm working with the best here at Fulham and it was nice to get an opportunity in the Premier League against Everton earlier this season."
