Murphy nears Cottagers deal

Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy is close to agreeing a new contract to keep him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2011.
The 32-year-old former England international has been with the Cottagers for two seasons, having previously enjoyed spells with Spurs, Charlton Athletic, Liverpool and Crewe Alexandra.
Murphy told the Evening Standard: "It is a case of getting the paperwork done and finalising a few little details.
"The manager wants me and I want to spend the rest of my career here. There's no doubting that.
"I get on great with the manager and the team is moving forward.
"The club is moving forward and we're looking towards another productive season.
"I'm the captain. What more do I want? I'm just completely content."
