Murphy signs new Fulham deal

Fulham captain Danny Murphy has signed a contract extension with the London outfit.[LNB] The former Liverpool, Spurs and Charlton midfielder has penned a deal at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2010. [LNB]The former England international has made 25 appearances for the Whites this season notching up five goals to date.[LNB]Murphy joined Fulham during the summer of 2007 and scored the winning goal at Fratton Park at the end of last season to secure the club's top flight status. [LNB]The 31-year-old was made captain for the current campaign by boss Roy Hodgson in the summer.[LNB]
