Michael Jackson statue unveiled at Fulham - PICTURE SPECIAL

Unfortunately for Fulham fans, April Fools' Day has been and gone. [LNB]The much-hyped statue of Michael Jackson was finally unveiled at Craven Cottage on Sunday, and based on these pictures it's unlikely to have gone down well with the Fulham faithful.[LNB]Read Sportsmail's exclusive on April 1: Absolutely Wacko! [LNB]'The Michael Jackson Fulham Statue has to be one of the worst things I've ever seen,' Joe Roberts said. While Steven Ward added: 'That Michael Jackson statue at Fulham looks cheap! I'm a huge MJ fan but it looks tacky.'[LNB]Al Fayed however, was quick to defend the statue telling fans they 'can go to hell' if they didn't like it.[LNB] Smooth criminal: The King of Pop proudly takes his place outside Fulham's home [LNB]'Why is it bizarre?,' he said after the unveiling. 'Football fans love it. 'If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift they can go to hell. [LNB]'I don't want them to be fans. If they don't understand and don't believe in things I believe in they can go to Chelsea, they can go to anywhere else.[LNB] 'People will queue to come and visit it from all over the UK and it is something that I and everybody else should be proud of.' [LNB] [LNB] Fulham fans were already bewildered by the decision to erect a statue of Jackson outside their ground - given the deceased singer's vague links to the club. [LNB]And despite Al Fayed's claims, the official unveiling of the statue is unlikely to have deterred any of those doubters. [LNB]But what do you think?
