Kosice won't sell Novak

MFK Kosice insist Jan Novak will not be leaving the club before the close of the transfer window after the striker was linked with Fulham. Novak impressed during Kosice's recent Europa League play-off tie with Roma and scored twice in a 3-3 draw in the first leg. Reports had claimed that Fulham boss Roy Hodgson was considering a move for the 24-year-old to beef up his attacking options. However, Kosice's head of football development Allen Bula has told skysports.com that the Slovakian club are not looking to sell. Bula expects Novak to eventually move to a bigger league, but says it will take a 'very big offer' to secure an immediate deal. "We are not prepared to lose our prize asset and it would take a very big offer to maybe change our minds," Bula told skysports.com. "We know that eventually we will lose Novak to a higher league and the lad deserves it for all the hard work he gives the club. "But he is our player and that's the way it will remain for now."
