Darlington have handed a new contract to goalkeeper David Stockdale.
The 22-year-old has kept eight clean sheets after making 14 appearances for the Quakers this season and has now put pen to paper on a new deal which ties him to the club until summer 2008.
"He signed for a year during the summer and, as a reward for what he has done this season, we pulled him in, had a chat and gave him a new deal," manager Dave Penney told the club's official website.
"He's deserved it. We didn't expect him to play as many games as he has done.
"Our thoughts at the start of the season were to send him out on loan but he has been excellent and has deserved the reward of a new contract."
Meanwhile, striker Ian Harty has left the Darlington Arena by mutual consent after failing to break into the first team.
