Kamara sets sights on return

Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara is hoping to be back in action by the turn of the year.

The Senegal international has been out of action since rupturing his crucitate knee ligament while on international duty in June.

But following an intensive rehabilitation programme during the past few months, the 27-year-old striker can finally see light at the end of the injury tunnel.

"It's going very well," he told the club's official website. "I'm two or three months away from playing so I'm happy with the way the rehabilitation is going.

"I've started running, which is the most important stage, and I'm doing very well.

"I need to work on my fitness but I'm doing bike work and running - everything to get my fitness up.

"After the operation I was a little bit frustrated but now it's okay in a few more months I'll be playing football."
