Kamara cools Bordeaux talk

Diomansy Kamara has scotched reports linking him with a move from Fulham to Bordeaux.

It had been rumoured that the French side were lining up Kamara as a replacement for Marouane Chamakh who has been linked with switches to Arsenal and Sunderland.

But the 28-year-old insisted: "It is a great honour to be linked with the French champions, but I have had no contact yet - maybe my agents have.

"However, I have a contract until 2011, so it is up to the club. I am not asking to leave, but if there is a deal that can make everyone happy, you never know.

"But I like it here and I am looking forward to a great season without injury."

Kamara's two-season spell with the Cottagers has been decimated by injuries but he has scored ten goals in 21 starts and 23 appearances from the substitute's bench following his switch from West Brom.
