Recruitment drive: Celtic new boy Kamara[LNB]Celtic have signed Diomansy Kamara on loan from Fulham on what is shaping up to be a busy day at Parkhead.   [LNB]Kamara has signed until the end of the season with Celtic having an option to buy the forward, who played under manager Tony Mowbray at West Brom.   [LNB]Celtic have also completed the signing of 18-year-old winger Paul Slane from Motherwell on a four-year deal.  [LNB]Senegal international Kamara has scored three goals this season in 13 appearances, five of which came from the bench. [LNB]The 29-year-old told Celtic's official website: 'I'm delighted to sign for Celtic and I am very much looking forward to joining up with the manager and my new team-mates.[LNB] 'Celtic is a magnificent football club. I will be looking to do my very best to contribute and bring the supporters success and hopefully enjoy a long future with the club.'[LNB] Slane has signed a four-year contract after after Motherwell accepted an undisclosed second offer. [LNB]Well chairman John Boyle was left unimpressed by Slane's attitude after the teenager refused the offer of a new contract with his current deal set to expire in the summer.[LNB] Boyle told his club's website: 'We have tried and tried to get Paul to sign a long-term contract but, much to our extreme disappointment, he has continually refused. [LNB]  'We have offered the player improved competitive terms in line with other progressing youngsters at the club but, both personally and through his agent, he has refused.[LNB] 'Paul has been at the club for six years and we have financed his development and nurtured his talent, culminating in his senior debut at the end of last season. [LNB]'We have also stuck by and supported him over those years through both personal issues and injury and felt we were due some degree of loyalty for our efforts. [LNB]'Sadly, he has chosen to refuse our offers and move on to Celtic.'[LNB] Slane made his debut last season and featured in all of Motherwell's six Europa League games last summer, but a calf injury that required two operations has restricted him to two substitute appearances in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League this term. [LNB]The winger was targeted by Celtic youth academy chief Chris McCart, who previously performed the same role at Fir Park, and is unlikely to be in Mowbray's immediate plans.     [LNB]The signings could be quickly followed by several more before the midnight deadline.[LNB] Hit: Rasmussen (left) scores the winner at Hamilton in his second Celtic game[LNB] Holland international left-back Edson Braafheid is hoping to agree a loan move from Bayern Munich, which would fill the gap created by Danny Fox's move to Burnley.[LNB] Braafheid's agent, Siggi Lens, said: 'We've just touched down in Glasgow to finalise this and a loan deal is something that appeals to Edson.'[LNB]Celtic are also in talks over a permanent transfer for Real Mallorca defender Ivan Ramis and they have been linked with a move for Halmstad striker Emir Kujovic.[LNB] Kamara's arrival, which comes on the back of last week's capture of Denmark striker Morten Rasmussen, casts fresh doubt on the future of top scorer Scott McDonald, who has been linked with West Ham, Middlesbrough and Wigan.[LNB]Celtic later confirmed Braafheid's capture on loan until the end of this season. [LNB]The 26-year-old, who has five caps, is aiming to secure his place in the Holland squad for the 2010 World Cup. [LNB]He began his career at FC Utrecht before joining FC Twente in 2007. [LNB]He moved to Bayern last summer.[LNB]Kamara later revealed a desire to stay at Celtic after his loan spell expires in the summer. [LNB] Speculation: There has been plenty of talk about McDonald leaving the Hoops[LNB]'This project is not just for a few months,' he said. 'If I do well, I can sign a permanent transfer.[LNB]'I'm a little bit sad to leave Fulham but I have good feeling here. I just want to go forward. I want to be part of Celtic for the next few years.' [LNB]Braafheid refused to rule out a permanent summer switch and revealed he jumped at the chance to sign for Celtic. [LNB]'This weekend I got a phone call from my father telling me that Celtic were interested,' the Holland left-back said. [LNB]'He was saying "take your time and think about it" but I knew for sure I wanted to make this step.' [LNB]Mowbray revealed there could be more signings before the midnight deadline with chief executive Peter Lawwell expected to do more business. [LNB]'I know Peter is working hard behind the scenes,' the Celtic manager said. [LNB]And he denied that McDonald would definitely be departing. [LNB]'There are lots of components that need to come together for that to happen,' he said. 'As far as I know, Scott is still very much a Celtic player.'
