Kallio excited by Europa Cup campaign

Fulham defender Toni Kallio believes the club are primed for an assault on next season`s Europa Cup. The Cottagers` opponents for the third qualifying round will be announced on July 17 after Roy Hodgson`s men enjoyed a fabulous 2008/09 campaign by booking a European place. And Kallio is confident his side can progress through to the group stages thanks, in part, to a fabulous team spirit at the club. "Hopefully we can take the momentum from the end of last season into the new one," he told the club`s official website. "We're confident that we can do well, but we have to be well prepared because there are some difficult teams in the competition. "But I think it's a very positive experience for the club, the team-spirit is fantastic and that is one of the main reasons why we had such a great season."
