Jol to make changes

Martin Jol will rotate his squad for Fulham's Capital One Cup second-round tie against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

The Cottagers have made an encouraging start to the season, thrashing Norwich 5-0 on the opening day of the campaign and almost snatching a point at Manchester United on Saturday. Jol is confident he has the depth in his squad to field an alternative line-up at Hillsborough.

"There will be a few changes. We have 18 or 19 players," Jol said. "They are good enough to come in for some others. I can give three or four players a rest."

Centre Aaron Hughes predicts Fulham are going to enjoy a successful season.

"We did really well against Norwich and there's a lot we can take from the Man Utd game too," Hughes told the club's official website, www.fulhamfc.com.

"It's been a good start, but there's a long way to go yet.

"We're solid at the back, have players with a lot of creativity in midfield and up front we can score goals - it's a nice balance.

"With that in mind, looking ahead, we could have a good season."
