Johnson doubt for Roma clash

Fulham striker Andrew Johnson is a doubt for Thursday's Europa League clash with Roma as he continues to battle with a shoulder injury. Johnson sustained the injury in the Cottagers clash with Amkar Perm in August, but was in contention to face Hull on Monday night. However, he did not recover in time to face the lowly Tigers and now faces a race against time to be fit for the clash with the Italian club. "Andy came back earlier from the injury that he sustained against Amkar Perm than perhaps he should have done," said boss Roy Hodgson. "He's probably been carrying something in the shoulder that has caused a slight problem in his groin on the other side. "We were confident on Wednesday last week he'd be fit to play. He's not far away but he's not 100%."
