The queue to observe Fulham train at their Motspur Park centre is growing by the game not just with autograph hunters, but also coaches from around the world, looking for new ideas from an old hand. Roy Hodgson, 61, is the reason for their visit to the Surrey home of the Barclays Premier League's emerging team. Fulham, slayers of Manchester United last time out, play title-chasing Liverpool tomorrow with their experienced coach plotting another giant-killing. Why all the fuss? Why is it that UEFA's technical study groups employ him regularly at major tournaments, analysing systems and styles, educating and advising future generations?
