Imps agree defender deal

Lincoln City are to bolster their squad with the signing of Fulham defender Adam Watts on a month-long loan deal. Watts has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club, but had a spell on loan at Northampton Town towards the end of last season. He has also undertaken a stint at MK Dons in the past and has now agreed to spend the next month with League Two club Lincoln. Providing the paperwork is finalised in time, the 21-year-old centre-half will go straight into the Imps side for Saturday's game at home to Aldershot. New Lincoln boss Chris Sutton, who was appointed earlier in the week, is looking to make an early impact at Sincil Bank, with the club having lost four games in a row, conceding 10 goals in the process.
