Mark Hughes has left his post as Fulham manager less than 12 months after taking up the reins at Craven Cottage.
In a move widely anticipated to precede his appointment as Gerard Houllier's replacement as Aston Villa's manager, Hughes left his role late afternoon on Thursday.
