Hughes Plays Down Link With Santa Cruz
Mark Hughes has played down rumours that he's looking to buy Manchester City striker, Roque Santa Cruz. The Fulham boss has stated before that his main priority is to get a new striker to play alongside Bobby Zamora. Hughes has already ruled out buying Santa Cruz's team-mate, Craig Bellamy. He now also insists that it's unlikely he'll make a bid for Santa Cruz as he can not afford his wages. Hughes said, 'People are making assumptions because I've worked with him before'. // '); // ]]>
