Hughes Has A Hard Act To Follow
Mark Hughes has become the seventh manger of Fulham in the last 12 seasons but will he able to live up to his predecessors? 1998-1999 - Kevin Keegan He was with the club for only one season but successfully guided Fulham to promotion into Division One. He then decided to move on to concentrate fully on the England job. 1999-2000 - Paul Bracewell He took over from Keegan but was dismissed in the March of that season and quickly replaced by Jean Tigana. 2000-2003 - Jean Tigana After taking over from Bracewell, he gained promotion into the Premier League with Fulham at the end of the 1999-2000 season. Thereafter, he ensured the club stayed mid-table during his tenture. 2003-2007 - Chris Coleman He became the youngest manager in the Premier League when he took over from Tigana and was successful in keeping Fulham mid-table much like his predecessor. 2007- Lawrie Sanchez Whilst still in charge of Nothern Ireland, he was appointed caretaker-manager of Fulham after Coleman's sacking. Sanchez was successful in keeping the club in the Premier League but was given his marching orders in the December of the 2007-2008 season after only winning three games. 2007-2010 - Roy Hodgson Hodgson is considered as one of Fulham's greatest manager's after guiding the Londoners to their first Europa League Final. What will Mark Hughes be able to achieve (if anything) during his reign?
