Hodgson signs new Fulham contract

Roy Hodgson has ended speculation about his future by signing a new 12-month rolling contract with Fulham.
The 62-year-old has revived the Cottagers' fortunes since replacing Lawrie Sanchez as manager almost exactly two years ago.
He guided the club away from the relegation zone on the final day of the 2007-08 campaign before helping them qualify for this season's Europa League with a seventh-placed finish last term.
This season, Fulham are in the top half of the Premier League table as well as reaching the last 32 of the Europa League after finishing second behind AS Roma in their group.
Last month, the former Blackburn and Internazionale manager revealed that he would be signing a new contract very shortly.
He said at the time: "I spoke to the chairman (Mohamed Al Fayed) and it's not been a difficult discussion. It seems everyone is keen for me to stay and I've always made it perfectly clear I'm happy to stay here.
"Hopefully all will be well and I'll be able to stay longer. I can't put a time-scale on it but we're basically in agreement."
