Hodgson hopeful of Hangeland deal

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson remains confident Norwegian defender Brede Hangeland will sign a new contract with the club at the end of the season. The 27-year-old, who has reportedly attracted interest from Arsenal, joined in January 2008 from Copenhagen. He initially signed a three-and-a-half year contract which is due to expire at the end of the 2010-11 season.
