Hodgson: We were worth a win

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson felt his side deserved to hold on for three points at West Ham. The Cottagers recovered from the setback of having Kagisho Dikgacoi sent off five minutes before the interval to take a 2-1 lead which they held until Junior Stanislas levelled with a deflected strike in injury time. Hodgson said: "I would like to think no-one would begrudge us the victory there because we were worth it for our second-half performance. "We know that games last 94-95 minutes and shots do get deflected. Sunderland were denied a famous victory at Old Trafford on Saturday and we have been denied a famous victory here in exactly the same way."
