I'm still angry that it happened," he said.[LNB]"In football you do get bad challenges sometimes, which maybe aren't even that intentional, that cost you.[LNB]"These things happen but what annoys me about the Johnson situation is there was no attempt to play the ball or to soften the blow.[LNB]"It's caused Andy an injury which he will now have to learn to live with. His recovery is not optimal.[LNB]"He will have to learn to live with a deformity on his shoulder."[LNB]Riise denialHodgson also confirmed that new signing Bjorn Helge Riise had denied comparing himself to Damien Duff. [LNB]The Norway midfielder was quoted in his domestic press as being disgruntled at his lack of first-team action and compared himself favourably to Duff.[LNB]"When players go abroad they do interviews with journalists who aren't as scrupulous as some of those in the UK," he said.[LNB]"The player says all the right platitudes like 'I want to get into the team', but of course that won't sell any newspapers so the Norwegian journalist thinks,[LNB]'Who can I compare him with?'.[LNB]"So he compares him with Damien Duff, who has many caps for Ireland and has been involved in a couple of big transfers.[LNB]"Riise rang me on Monday and was devastated at what had been written.[LNB]"He didn't say it and would never compare himself with Damien. He called Damien to reassure him.[LNB]"Riise is a very modest, sensible lad who knows he has a lot to do to break into the team.[LNB]"He would never criticise anyone in our team, so I feel sorry for him."[LNB]
