Great escape: Hodgson masterminded Fulham's miraculous relegation battle[LNB]Roy Hodgson has handed Fulham an almighty boost by claiming he has agreed personal terms on a contract extenstion at Craven Cottage. [LNB]The 62-year-old has been a revelation in west London since rescuing the Cottagers from near certain relegation following his appointment in December 2007. 'We are basically in agreement and I've got to say it was very easy to come to that agreement.[LNB]'It seems that everyone is keen for me to stay and I've always made it perfectly clear that I'm happy to stay.[LNB]'I've never made any secret of the fact that I'm happy at Fulham and I'm enjoying the job here.[LNB]'It is just a matter now of putting the contract discussions that we have already had onto paper.'[LNB]The current deal runs out at the end of the current campaign and exact details of the new deal are yet to be confirmed.[LNB]Hodgson has also widely been tipped to take the reigns of a British football team at the 2012 Olympics in London.[LNB] Fulham 3 Blackburn 0: Dempsey's double another sickener for AllardyceBlackburn boss Sam Allardyce's heart problems a wake-up call to all managers, warns Fulham's Roy HodgsonBirmingham 1 Fulham 0: Lee Bowyer clouts Cottagers with magic momentALL THE FULHAM FC
