Hodgson pushing for Europa spot

Roy Hodgson hopes his Fulham side can carry on their good recent form into the last few matches of the season and secure a European spot. The Cottagers 3-1 victory at Manchester City on Easter Sunday moved the team up to eighth in the Premier League, just one point and place away from the final prized European football spot. Hodgson is delighted with the massive improvement his team have shown this season and is optimistic about the possibility of bringing European football to Craven Cottage. "We just want to finish in the top half of the table, and if we end up there we will be very happy," the Fulham boss told This is Local London. "But if we keep winning games then who knows? "After the season we had last year, the fact we have been in the top half of the table pretty much all season has been a great achievement."
