Hodgson hopeful on Zamora and Duff

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson is hopeful striker Bobby Zamora will be available for the Europa League final against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.[LNB] Zamora has been struggling with an Achilles injury and required a painkilling injection for the second leg of the semi-final against Hamburg two weeks ago.[LNB]But despite missing training on Tuesday night, Hodgson insists Fulham's top scorer with 19 goals is on course to start the biggest match in the club's 131-year history, along with winger Damien Duff who has a leg problem.[LNB]"Both players trained on Monday and that was very positive," he said.[LNB]"Hopefully they'll train again and we'll have to wait and see if there's any reaction to that.[LNB]"I've been given no indication that they're suffering from a reaction so my hope is that they'll be available."[LNB]Paul Konchesky (ankle), Brede Hangeland (knee) and Aaron Hughes (groin) should return after missing the 4-0 defeat by Arsenal.[LNB]Cottagers (from): Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Murphy, Etuhu, Davies, Duff, Dempsey, Zamora, Nevland, Gera, Zuberbuhler, Baird, Riise, Smalling, Dikgacoi, Greening.
