Hangeland unfazed by rumours
Brede Hangeland insists continued speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal is nothing more than paper talk.
The Fulham defender has been a reported target for the Gunners for much of the summer, with rumours intensifying following Arsene Wenger's sale of Kolo Toure to Manchester City.
The Norway international is highly-regarded throughout the English game after a stand-out 2008/09 campaign at Craven Cottage.
He played an integral role in helping Fulham clinch a seventh place finish in the Premier League, and a resulting berth in the inaugural Europa League.
Hangeland admits that he is aware of the mounting interest in his services, but claims there is no substance to the suggestions that he is set for an imminent move.
"At the moment it is just something written in the newspapers and I'm not too worried about that," he told Sky Sports News.

He fully expects to be a Fulham player when the new season gets underway this weekend, with the Cottagers making it clear that they are unwilling to sell.
"There is nothing to suggest otherwise for me, so I am preparing for the game with Portsmouth on Saturday," he added.
Hangeland is refusing to let the speculation affect his game and has made it clear that he will not even consider the prospect of a transfer until a formal approach is made.
"That is something I will answer if that happens, so we will see," he said.
"At the moment I play for Fulham and I am very happy about that."
