Hangeland seeks Fulham stay

Brede Hangeland has stressed once again that he has no intention of leaving Fulham this summer. The Norway international has been regularly linked with a move away from Craven Cottage following an excellent season at the heart of Roy Hodgson's defence. Speculation has suggested that Arsenal could be interested in securing his services as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season. However, Hangeland is fully expecting to stay with Fulham and insists there has been no approach from the Gunners. He hopes the transfer talk dies down over the coming weeks after admitting it can become unsettling. "Speculation has become a part of daily life and at times it's quite tiring," Hangeland told Stavanger Aftenblad. "I don't know anything about this story. Right now, there is no indication that I will change club."
