Hangeland happy with Fulham
rede Hangeland has again insisted he is happy at Fulham and has no plans to leave Craven Cottage in the summer.
The imposing Norway international has been linked with a number of clubs after numerous impressive displays at the heart of Roy Hodgson's defence.
Manchester City are the latest to be credited with an interest in the former Viking and FC Copenhagen player, but Hangeland has no plans to turn his back on Fulham.
He told the club's official website: "During my career there have been times when there's been a lot of speculation; when I was in Denmark and Norway.
"I've learnt not to think about it and I also know that speculation could be nothing. Obviously I'm happy when people think I'm doing well.
"That's the most important thing - the manager, the players and the fans at Fulham are happy with what I do. It's a big thing for me.
"I've said it all along - I'm having a great time here and I'm happy at this club and I'd like to stay here for a long time."
UnbelievableHangeland admitted he was taking a chance by moving to Fulham from Copenhagen for £2.5million last January with Hodgson's side embroiled in a relegation battle.
But having played a key role in the Cottagers' great escape last term, he admits there have been few more enjoyable moments during his career.
He added: "It was an unbelievable experience and for me it was very important because maybe I took a risk coming here because of the position the club was in.
"There was a lot at stake towards the end of the season. To pull that off was probably the best feeling I've had as a footballer.
"Even though I've won a few things, to avoid relegation, that's maybe even a better feeling. To come out of it as we did I was very happy!"
