Gudjohnsen Linked With Fulham Loan

Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen is set to sign a season-long loan with Fulham after turning down Stoke City. The 31-year old Iceland international is almost certain to land at Craven Cottage according to Mirror Football after snubbing the Potters who were confident of getting a deal done. Last season, Gudjohnsen turned down a loan move to West Ham United at the last minute to join Tottenham, and it seems as though a similar situation has occurred here. The Cottagers are willing to pay about £2m of the former Chelsea and Barcelona man's salary at Monaco which should see the French club agree to a loan deal.
