Fulham have been given the green light to increase the capacity of Craven Cottage by an additional 4,000 seats.
The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham has approved plans to redevelop both the Riverside and Hammersmith End stands.
The work will see additional seating added to the 111-year-old ground, plus incorporate corporate facilities and a new restaurant.
"The club is delighted to announce that its planning application for a development package, that includes a plan to increase the capacity of Craven Cottage by an additional 4,000 seats, was granted," read a club statement.
"Approval has been given for the removal of existing executive boxes from the Riverside Stand to facilitate the addition of further seats, and the corporate facilities would be refurbished to an extremely high specification allowing us to maximise on the revenue making opportunities these areas would generate.
"It is also the intention to begin work in the Hammersmith End, where planning for a restaurant with views across the river has already been granted."
