Gray to snub Cottagers deal

Winger Julian Gray is ready to quit Fulham despite being offered a new contract to remain at Craven Cottage.

Gray, 29, joined the Cottagers on a season-long loan from Coventry City last summer before signing a permanent six-month contract in January.

But after failing to make a single Premier League appearance for Roy Hodgson's side, Gray has revealed he will not be taking up the offer of a new deal for next season.

His only first-team appearances have been in the FA and Carling Cups.

The former Crystal Palace and Birmingham City wideman said: "The club want me to stay and have offered me a contract, but it's very frustrating when you're not playing games.

"There's not much point in signing a new deal at a club where you are not even playing."
